The wider project objective is to modernise and update the Master courses in line with the European standards :

  • Quaternary GeoEnvironment - ArchaeoGeomorphology 
  • Analysis and Management of Anthropogenic Natural Hazards and Disasters      

that are part of the new Master Programme of Faculty of Geology & Geoenvironment, University of Athens. More specifically the objective is to ensure that the students that will follow these courses will gain the qualification requirements needed in the EU.

This plan has the following main objectives:

  • To improve the quality and to increase the volume of student and teaching staff mobility throughout Europe
  • To improve the quality and to increase the volume of multilateral cooperation between higher education institutions in Europe
  • To produce high quality graduates and strengthen, research-based, highly ranked, academic institutions
  • To improve the quality and to increase the volume of cooperation between higher education institutions and enterprises, to motivate stakeholders to get actively involved
  • To reform higher education programmes in a way that they are attractive for foreign students to come and study in Greece.
  • To support the development of innovative ICT-based content, services, pedagogies and practice for lifelong learning
  • To deliver an annual intensive training program with a duration of 16 days.
