The second Intensive Program was held in Kyllene and Corfu in Greece, and was about  ArchaeoGeomorphology.

Key facts of the event

Location: Kyllene and Corfu, Greece

When: 11/09/2016-27/09/2016

Teaching staff from:

―National and Kapodistrian University of Athens

―Aix-Marseille University

Course contents

The students worked over a real underwater excavation in:

- Underwater archaeological excavation in submerged coastal position (methods and techniques)

- Archaeological stratigraphy study (underwater and on land)

- Dimensional photogrammetric mapping by students of positions

- Geodetic surveying with Total Station stations

- Underwater photography techniques

- Excavation techniques in semi-coastal sites below the water table level

- Seminars in situ: blending archaeological Ms. geological research for the understanding of the geological changes from ancient times to today

- Archaeological and geological chronostromatografia

- Related changes in sea level (in situ in submerged and elevated & epichomenes positions - ancient ports).
