Bivolaru Alexandra is an Archaeologist, and she is currently a PhD candidate at Aix-Marseille University and at CEREGE and IMBE laboratories. Her Thesis is about Climate Change and Geoarchaeology in the Danube delta since 6000 yrs, coordinated by Ch. Morhange and V. Andrieu. Alexandra studied Ancient History and Archaeology in the University of Bucharest. Then she had postgraduate studies in Archaeology with a dissertation concerning the palaeoenvironmental analysis of an ancient City of Istros (Romania, Black Sea coast). Her main research interests are landscape archaeology, geoarchaeology and ancient harbours. She has participated in many scientific manifestation and excavations in Romania and Greece.
